Requirements To be responsible for and timeliness of all necessary assessments, plans, and notes for each resident (i.e. Initial Assessment, Initial Service Plans, Clinical Treatment Plans, Service Plans, CANS Assessments, etc.). To provide individual, parent, family, group therapy to clients. Complete 2 individual counseling sessions per week, per youth. Complete 1 group session weekly for assigned groups. Complete 2 family therapy sessions per month, per assigned family. To be on call for crisis assessments and to issue suicide watch precautions when necessary. To ensure that resident counseling files are maintained to both state and Medicaid standards. To be an advocate for the resident and PWASH when necessary in appearances in court, team meetings, case conferences, etc. To attend and give input into both House Staff Meetings and Therapeutic Team Meetings to aid in the effectiveness of treatment. To maintain all documentation necessary for Medicaid (i.e. treatment plans, assessments, prior authorizations, etc.) To establish friendly, professional relationships with residents, resident’s placing agencies, and parents. To obtain necessary training for required services to clients (CSAYC, TF-CBT, MI, etc.) To provide educational opportunities for staff in the form of staff trainings, etc. Execute job responsibilities consistent with PWA & Spencer Home, Inc.’s (PWASH) Tenets of Culture, mission, vision, and beliefs, while adhering to all company policies and procedures. Physical and Visual Acuity RequirementsThe physical requirement of this position is defined as Sedentary Work: Exerting up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The visual acuity requirements needed to perform this position include having close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; and reading. Licensed by the State of Indiana as an MSW, LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT Knowledge of crisis intervention and stress debriefing. Knowledge of psychodynamic issues that specifically affect adolescents and parents. Knowledge of child and adult development. Knowledge of child abuse and neglect signs and symptoms.
