Stonetec Tile & Stone Installation Ltd. is seeking a skilled Tile Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Residential tile industry with 5+ years experience.
As an employee of Stonetec Tile & Stone Installation Ltd. you will be responsible for executing various tile installation tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards and project schedules.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years experience in tile installation is required.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings

  Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
  Contract length: 6 months
  Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

• Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
• Mix, apply and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue or other adhesives using hand trowel
• Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to base
• Align and straighten tiles
• Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
• Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
• Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
• Build underbeds and install anchor bolts, wires and brackets
• Install tile strips
• Communicate in English clearly verbally & written.
• BC drivers license
