Join our dedicated team as a Unit Leader at our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), where your leadership ensures that daily schedules, treatment plans, and care standards are met with excellence. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate and direct group activities to ensure compliance with treatment schedules • Monitor and report supply and curriculum needs for psychosocial programming • Ensure staff are equipped with materials for therapeutic groups and activities • Collaborate with medical, therapeutic, and educational departments for holistic care • Document staff interactions, incidents, and resident progress • Support direct care staff during emergencies or crises • Attend staff meetings, supervision sessions, and coaching • Transport residents or conduct agency business using personal or agency vehicles • Promote cultural sensitivity, teamwork, and adherence to accreditation standards Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in human services preferred • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a residential program; medical care center experience a plus • Must be at least 21 years of age • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driving standards • Completion of Safe Crisis Management training (or willingness to complete upon hire) Skills & Competencies • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to interpret technical and legal materials • Basic financial literacy and data analysis capabilities • Commitment to trauma-informed care and culturally responsive practices Physical & Environmental Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform manual tasks for extended periods • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally • Comfortable working in moderate noise levels and occasional outdoor conditions Why Join Us?
