RESIDENTIAL UNIT MANAGER

We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join The Paddocks Care Home as our Residential Unit Manager. You’ll play a vital role in the home, ensuring that your team provides the highest level of care, making sure every resident feels happy, healthy and supported.
Working 40 hours per week including an expectation of 2 days supernumerary and 3 days on the care floor.

Responsibilities
  • To be responsible for the day-to-day smooth running of the residential care unit.
  • Support the care planning process, actively involving service users, families, and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ensure the safety and comfort of all residents, whilst encouraging a homely and calm atmosphere.
  • Stay updated on emergency procedures, equipment, and legislation.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Abiding by CQC regulations, which includes reporting any breeches or areas of concern.
  • Maintaining staffing budgets and ensuring audit schedules are adhered to.
  • Prepare all direct care staff rotas for the residential care unit, ensuring service needs are always met.
  • Promote high standards of staff performance, care and support for our residents.
  • Ensure that clear and accurate records are maintained and effectively used.
  • Work effectively with the General Manager to ensure all KPI’s are achieved across the residential care unit.
