Location: Rubislaw Park Care Home, Aberdeen’s Prestigious West End
Salary: £35,647.04 per year (£15.58 per hour)
Hours: 44 hours per week (50% residential floor-based, 50% supernumerary)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As Residential Unit Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our residential unit, ensuring that every resident receives truly person-centred care in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment. You’ll spend half your time on the floor across two shifts, staying close to your team and residents, and the other half supernumerary overseeing care plans, guiding colleagues, and working alongside the senior leadership team to help shape the direction of the service.
You’ll lead your team with confidence, compassion, and clarity ensuring each team member understands their role, feels valued, and is empowered to deliver exceptional care. Whether it’s supporting a resident to maintain their independence, managing a family concern with empathy, or mentoring a colleague through a tricky shift, you’ll be the calm, capable presence that holds it all together.
