Description

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of operational logistics, supplier management, and Defence supply chain principles
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate resilience initiatives, from development to operational implementation
  • Experience engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk scenarios

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Proven experience in resilience, business continuity, incident management or supply chain risk management within a logistics, defence, or complex supply chain environment
  • Background in supplier relationship management
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate resilience initiatives, from development to operational implementation
  • Previous experience using Power BI to transform data into meaningful insights would be considered advantageous

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in any of the following: supply chain management, logistics, business continuity, risk management, or related field

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • BPSS Pre-screening required to Start

WHO WE ARE:

The Logistics Commodities & Services Transformation (LCST) Programme for the UK Ministry of Defence is a critical effort to enhance and improve the UK’s defence supply chain. The programme provides essential services such as storage and distribution for the MOD’s materiel, including a global freight service and the procurement and inventory management of 70,000 commodity NATO Stock Number (NSNs).
