This is a hands-on, high-impact role responsible for maintaining uptime, diagnosing equipment issues, and driving reliability improvements across critical production systems. You’ll work with a variety of equipment and systems, requiring strong troubleshooting ability and independent decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Execute and own preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Diagnose issues with motors, relays, fuses, and PLC-controlled equipment Use diagnostic tools and meters for testing, calibration, and fault isolation Perform fabrication, cutting, and welding as needed Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions Communicate effectively with operations, shift leadership, and maintenance teams Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment reliability efforts Requirements 1 - 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment independently Strong working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems Experience working with PLCs and automated systems preferred Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Physical & Work Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in an industrial environment Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders Ability to operate or become certified on a forklift Must be able to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including overtime as needed About JSP JSP is a global leader in sustainable materials and manufacturing innovation, supporting industries such as automotive, HVAC, packaging, and consumer goods.
