Summary/Objective The Spot Welder is responsible for the operation of spot weld machinery for the organization. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Use of Spot Welding machinery to weld components to fabricate scale parts and accessories, as instructed. * Must read and clearly understand blueprints or other written documents, as well as verbal fabrication instructions. * Use of fixtures or jugs, as required. * Responsible for machine setups and welds, including weld quality. * Verification that finished work is in conformance. Competencies * Reading, writing and verbal communication * Initiative & Safety Conscious * Mathematical/Geometry Skills * Time Management Required Education and Experience * High School Diploma or equivalent.  Preferred Education and Experience * Two (2) years of factory/manufacturing experience with similar equipment * Welding Certification is a plus  Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 1st shift- 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., 2nd shift- 3:30 p.m. to midnight., 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Responsibilities
Operate spot weld machinery to fabricate scale parts and accessories according to blueprints and verbal instructions. Responsible for machine setups, ensuring weld quality, and verifying that finished work conforms to specifications.
