The Court and Justice Services (CJS) Division provides a wide range of resolution and court services for people involved in legal disputes. In collaboration with the courts of Alberta, Court and Justice Services provides various programs and services including educating and helping Albertans finding solutions for legal issues, navigating the court system, offering programs at no cost or a nominal charge, and administrative support to all courts in Alberta.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required: A High School Diploma and three (3) years of related experience.

THE FOLLOWING WILL BE CONSIDERED RELATED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in office administration.
  • Experience working in a legal or court environment.

As a Resolution Service Program Support, you will assist with the daily operations of the Resolution Services programs while serving as a frontline representative of Alberta Justice. Your willingness to learn and adapt to change will be key to your success in this role!

In this role, you will support complex procedures, practices, and initiatives within the operations of the Business and Resolution Services branch. Your duties in this role include, but is not limited to:

  • Scheduling Resolution Services matters and program services in coordination with service users, staff, and external service providers, and in consideration of available infrastructure and resources.
  • Organizing and providing staff and external service providers with case information, procedural/program information, and updates relevant to their service delivery role(s).
  • Assisting the public and service providers in the completion of forms and providing information regarding court and program procedures.
  • Maintaining relationships with partners which include, court personnel, lawyers, mediators, program officers, and appropriate agencies as well as other staff to provide support and source assistance as needed.
  • Recording and tracking case file information, including outcome data, in an organized and accessible manner to ensure that program information and statistics are easily accessed.
