Job Description The Resort Experience Manager brings the resort to life by planning, organizing, and leading dynamic recreation programs and memorable special events. This role ensures every guest experience is thoughtfully designed and smoothly executed whether hands-on or by guiding a team of supervisors to create an atmosphere that is fun, welcoming, and unforgettable. As a Resort Experience Manager, you will, Lead Activities & Events team members, including hiring, training, coaching, conflict resolution, and maintaining appropriate staffing levels Plan, organize, and execute themed recreation programs, parties, and special events for owners, guests, and employees Prepare and manage departmental budgets, schedules, payroll/timekeeping, and attendance records Establish and maintain department policies, procedures, and safety standards Coordinate with vendors and other departments to deliver programs, services, and events Oversee inventory, purchasing, and maintenance of recreation equipment, Kids Club supplies, and activity materials Ensure recreation facilities, equipment, and activities meet safety and compliance requirements; suspend activities when necessary for safety or weather conditions Prepare marketing materials and update resort communication channels, including the resort TV/information channel Conduct and attend staff meetings; prepare operational, safety, and supervisory reports Coordinate CPR and First Aid training for team members Host or serve as speaker at resort functions and special events as needed Support cross-department collaboration and perform additional duties as assigned by resort leadership To excel in this role, you must embody our core values of integrity, passion, and a strong work ethic. Qualifications ​​3-5 years of relevant experience working and/or training in an activity department/program in a large resort Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two to three years of related experience working and/or training in an activity department or program of a large resort with at least two of these years in a supervisory capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to regularly lift, pull, push and or/move up to 50 pounds Additional Information Why Westgate?
