RESORT CLEANER

Stoke by Nayland Resort is looking for an experienced Resort Cleaner to join the team. Working as part of the Housekeeping team, and reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all guest facing areas across the Resort.

QUALIFICATIONS OR DESIRED SKILLS,

At least 1 year’s cleaning experience.
Additional Information – Hours of work available between 7am - 7pm, 3-5 days per week (including weekends).
Stoke by Nayland Resort is part of the family-owned Boxford Group, which has been established for over 80 years. Due to our location, nestled in the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), having your own transport is essential.

Responsibilities

Set a high standard of cleaning in order to exceed guest expectation.
Ensure all standard checklists are implemented, used as prescribed and are achieved in all areas.
Adopt a flexible attitude towards work, assuming both a proactive and reactive approach to tasks undertaken.
Liaise closely with Reception and Front of House teams with regard to daily room status and business activity to ensure cleaning is completed efficiently with consideration given to business levels.
Use of company nominated chemicals, ensuring compliance with COSHH.
Ensure that while you undertake your role you abide by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and other relevant legislation.
Understand the importance of adhering to company policy with reference to Hazard spotting, first aid reporting, and reporting accidents.
Have a complete understanding of hotel and Company procedures in the event of a fire.
