JOB SUMMARY

The Resource Development Officer (RDO) is responsible for leading and implementing fundraising strategies to ensure sustainable revenue streams for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Barron County (BGCBC). This role focuses on cultivating relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and the community to secure financial support for Club programs and initiatives. The RDO plays a key role in advancing the mission of the BGCBC by promoting community engagement, brand awareness, and donor stewardship.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in fundraising, resource development, or donor relations, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and to develop solutions to problems with limited supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, volunteers, subordinates, Board members, community groups, and other related agencies.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to drive club vehicles.
• Advanced computing skills in standard office software (Word, Excel, Google Formatted Programs)
