Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Resource Manager will be responsible for the effective allocation and utilisation of resources within the Professional Services department. Working closely with Project Managers, Director - PMO, Practice Managers (our product and industry SMEs) and Professional Services Managers (operational managers of our implementation team), this role will oversee project staffing, manage resource scheduling, and be responsible for ensuring optimal utilisation of team members to meet customer needs and project timelines. A part of the Professional Services management and leadership team, the Resource Manager will report to the Director of Professional Services for Home Care.
This is new role in the Australian team with the opportunity to own the position, creating systems and processes and setting the direction for the future to ensure the continued on-time delivery of high-quality implementation projects.

MORE SPECIFICALLY, THIS ROLE WILL:

  • Develop and maintain resource allocation schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels for all projects ensuring timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, management, and account managers to understand project requirements and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Manage resourcing for planned/unplanned leave and public holidays.
  • Track resource availability, identifying potential conflicts and resolving them proactively.
  • Monitor resource utilisation and adjust allocations to address changing project needs and priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resource management inquiries within the Professional Services department.
  • Resolve resourcing issues and escalations.
  • Analyse resource utilisation data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide reports and updates related to department resourcing, such as capacity and utilisation forecasts.
  • Develop and implement best practices for resource management within the Professional Services organisation.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of resource planning and allocation processes.
