Resource Manager
Salary: Upto £90,000 plus 5% bonus, DOE
Location: London - Full time with 3 days in the office each week

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Resource Manager to Join Robert Walters Outsourcing as a Workforce Consultant. As an Employed Workforce Consultant, you will benefit from permanent employment with Robert Walters Outsourcing and will be deployed on an interim or project basis into our clients’ organisations, in return we will provide you with the opportunity to develop your skills with ongoing training and professional accreditations.

What you’ll do:

  • Assess current resource management practices within the organisation and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance resource pool owners’ skills in effective resource management techniques
  • Design and implement standardized processes and controls for resource allocation and utilization
  • Assess existing resource management tools and suggest improvements or implement new tools to better support processes
  • Develop and embed robust prioritisation and escalation management
  • Work collaboratively with department heads to ensure optimal resource distribution across projects and initiatives
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of newly introduced processes and make necessary adjustments
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to team members on resource management best practicesPrepare detailed reports and presentations on resource management performance and improvements

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a Resourcing Specialist or in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of resource management principles and practices
  • Ability to develop and deliver training programs effectively
  • Ability to coach stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficient in using resource management software and tools
  • Strong analytical abilities
