RESOURCE PLANNER & ADMINISTRATOR

Location: Essex (Hybrid – 2 Days WFH After Training)
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm

We’re on the lookout for a Resource Planner & Administrator to become a key player in the operations of a growing environmental consultancy. You’ll be part of a team that supports essential services such as Asbestos, Water Hygiene, and Legionella risk management—all while keeping projects on track, teams productive, and clients satisfied.
You don’t need to know everything on day one. We’ll give you all the training, tools, and support you need to fully understand the role and grow into an expert. With a bespoke training plan and experienced colleagues to guide you, you’ll quickly become confident in your responsibilities and part of the team.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate daily workloads for field teams—keeping them 95% utilised and hitting their financial targets.
  • Use tools like Alpha Tracker, ABAX, and Microsoft Office to schedule and manage chargeable and reactive work.
  • Own and manage job booking, project documentation, and cost accuracy to support smooth invoicing.
  • Liaise with clients regularly, update project managers, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Keep everyone informed—hold weekly planning meetings and monthly client reviews to flag wins and solve resource challenges early.
  • Help manage Fernwood House building needs, plus support external equipment checks and staff training bookings.
  • Pitch in with general office support (post, samples, packages) and help keep the machine running smoothly.
