Position SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Resource Reading Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will support students in developing essential literacy skills, implement research-based reading instruction, and work collaboratively with teachers, specialists, and families to ensure reading success for all students.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct reading instruction to individuals that may be strugglingUse assessment data to design and deliver targeted reading interventionsImplement evidence-based literacy strategies and programsMonitor and report student progress regularlyCollaborate with classroom teachers to support literacy development across the curriculumMaintain accurate and up-to-date recordsParticipate in school-wide literacy initiatives and professional developmentQualificationsBachelors degree in Education or related fieldExperience teaching reading or literacy, preferably in a school settingKnowledge of current reading instruction methodologies and assessmentsStrong communication and collaboration skillsCommitment to student success and equity in educationHow to ApplyPlease submit your resume, cover letter, and references to mrsalcala@stpeterschool.com
