Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM

We’re seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Resource & Rostering Coordinator to join the G4S Human Resources team, reporting to the Head of Payroll & Employee Services (Amber). In the role you’ll provide comprehensive workforce management support, primarily focusing on accurate and timely payroll-related processes, roster management, and employee data maintenance for the Security Services Stream, which consists of 5 different business units.
As such, you’ll need to have great stakeholder management skills to collaborate with Security Services staff across the business, who are located across Australia, including VIC, NSW and WA. The position will serve as the key point of contact for employees and stakeholders regarding everything relating to fulfilling the coverage of contracted hours, pay, and leave.

IN THE ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Be a subject matter expert in our workforce management system, providing ongoing administration and support.
  • Create and maintain accurate and efficient rosters, address roster conflicts, adjust shifts as needed, and ensure compliance with operational, regulatory, and legislative requirements.
  • Support contracts and internal stakeholders in maintaining accurate timesheets and ensuring compliance with agreements and policies.
  • Serve as the primary contact for all communication related to schedules, pay, leave, and general inquiries from employees and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update timecards, leave, and performance data, and generate reports.
  • Monitor and process fortnightly pay period close requirements.
  • Provide advice and resolutions for a broad range of UKG-related queries.
  • Provide coverage for leave and possible ad hoc support in broader business areas.
