JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Resourcing Assistants play a vital role in ensuring the successful recruitment of DfE employees, from advertising to on-boarding. We provide a professional end-to-end service with a commitment to setting a new standard for diversity and inclusion aligned with the People Strategic Plan.
In line with Civil Service People Plan, our offer supports hiring managers to ‘attract and retain individuals from the widest possible pool of talent with a more diverse range of skills and backgrounds through ensuring fairness, transparency and merit in our recruitment’.
We are looking for a delivery driven, dynamic, and customer focussed individual to provide administration assistance to our hiring managers, as part of our comprehensive recruitment offer.

NATIONALITY REQUIREMENTS

This job is broadly open to the following groups:

  • UK nationals

  • nationals of Commonwealth countries who have the right to work in the UK
  • nationals of the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein and family members of those nationalities with settled or pre-settled status under the European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS)
  • nationals of the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein and family members of those nationalities who have made a valid application for settled or pre-settled status under the European Union Settlement Scheme (EUSS)
  • individuals with limited leave to remain or indefinite leave to remain who were eligible to apply for EUSS on or before 31 December 2020
  • Turkish nationals, and certain family members of Turkish nationals, who have accrued the right to work in the Civil Service
