To reduce our dependence on rainfall and groundwater and support the growing population, Water Corporation has formed the Alkimos SeaWater Alliance, which includes ACCIONA Construction Australia, ACCIONA Agua and Jacobs.
The Alliance will design, construct, operate and maintain the Plant which will produce 50 billion litres of drinking water per year, with provision to expand by an additional 50 billion litres per year in the future. Construction of the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant has recently commenced and the project is expected to be completed in 2029.
The Alliance is seeking a Resourcing Coordinator with experience in mobilising a blue-collar workforce.

Key accountabilities for the position:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for blue collar roles, including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand resourcing needs and role requirements
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates for high-volume and fast-paced environments
  • Schedule interviews, medicals, inductions, and pre-employment checks
  • Constantly explore and pursue opportunities to improve efficiency and automation through embracing software and applications.
  • Collaboration with the wider HR teams and key stakeholders to ensure high quality and efficient delivery of resourcing customer service.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to maintain effective communication at all levels of the project and organisation.
  • High energy and strong work ethic.
  • Experience in using software and applications to automate systems and process is highly desirable.
