Responsibilities

As Resourcing Partner Contingent Workforce, you’ll lead the management of contractor and temporary labour across TfGM, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective resource provision. This role blends recruitment expertise with commercial oversight to optimise workforce agility and supplier performance. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, HR, Procurement, and Finance to deliver strategic resourcing solutions that support both operational delivery and major transport projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the Contractor Recruitment Services Framework, overseeing supplier performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Providing expert guidance on contractor recruitment policies, IR35, and workforce planning.
  • Leading attraction and retention programmes in partnership with third-party providers.
  • Collecting and analysing contractor usage data, preparing reports for senior stakeholders, and supporting audits.
  • Ensuring all contingent engagements comply with legislation and TfGM policies, identifying and mitigating associated risks.
