This job is ON - SITE. FTE: 0.001000 Standard Hours: 0.01 Shift: Shift 4 Shift Details: Holidays: Weekends: Job Summary: • Intern II: Students enrolled in the second year of an RT program are encouraged to apply for positions that begin March/April 2026. To be considered, applications must be received no later than February 2026. Flexible scheduling available to support your academic success. Performs basic respiratory care duties as directed by the medical staff and in accordance with the hospital's objectives, policies and procedures. The individual will have a preceptor identified prior to the start of each rotation for supervision of duties. Other duties as assigned. EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Successful completion of all first year clinical rotations for respiratory therapy program is required. Must be and remain in good standing within the respiratory therapy program. Clinical experience in hospital, home care or skilled nursing facility is preferred. Member of the American Association for Respiratory Care/state Society for Respiratory Care is preferred. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: Currently enrolled in an entry or advanced level accredited Respiratory Therapy Education program is required. High School diploma or equivalent is preferred. LICENSURE DESCRIPTION: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
