We are Looking for: We are seeking a skilled and motivated PRN Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) / Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be the face of our clinical service, responsible for setting up and educating patients on their sleep apnea therapy equipment (CPAP, BiPAP, etc.) in their homes or at our care center. Your expertise will ensure patients start therapy confidently and correctly, directly impacting their compliance and quality of life. Your Key Responsibilities: Perform in-home and clinical set-ups for new CPAP, AutoPAP, BiPAP, and related respiratory equipment. Provide comprehensive, clear, and compassionate patient education on device operation, maintenance, mask fitting, and therapy expectations. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide clinical support to patients via phone or follow-up visits. Ensure accurate documentation of setup, patient education, and initial compliance data in the patient record. Collaborate with referring physicians and our DME team to ensure seamless patient care. Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA, accreditation (Joint Commission/CHAP/ACHC), and safety standards. Work Part-Time or PRN Requirements Required: Valid state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) and credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT). Required: Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on experience with sleep apnea therapy setups and patient education in a DME, home health, or sleep clinic setting. In-depth knowledge of PAP devices, masks, and related supplies. Strong interpersonal and teaching skills, with the ability to put anxious patients at ease. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently with a PRN, flexible schedule. Valid driver’s license, reliable insured vehicle, and clean driving record. High level of professionalism and commitment to patient confidentiality.
