Under direction of the V.P. of Respiratory Care Services, the Respiratory Clinical Educator will coordinate the design, planning, evaluation, and integration of clinical education and professional development activities as to maintain consistent standards of evidence-based practice and competencies in the delivery of appropriate patient care across all age-specific populations in the area of Respiratory Care. Respiratory Clinical Educator will function as an educator, a consultant, leader, researcher, and resource to respiratory staff, nursing, and physicians on the PIH Health Whittier Hospital campus and will be responsible for ensuring the competency and consistency of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Clinical Educator coordinates the design, planning, and integration of clinical education and professional development activities to maintain evidence-based practice standards. They serve as a consultant, leader, and resource for respiratory staff, nursing, and physicians to ensure clinical competency and consistency.
