We are now looking for a Specialty Care Key Account Manager (KAM) to deepen partnerships with respiratory specialists and priority accounts to deliver better care for appropriate patients. What you’ll do You will own a focused set of priority accounts across Queensland North. You’ll combine scientific credibility with strong account-based planning to shape on-label usage and sustainable access. Deliver on therapeutic goals: Meet or exceed territory sales, call execution, and forecast targets in line with brand strategy and compliance standards. Lead account strategy and execution: Build and execute comprehensive account plans for target hospitals, clinics, and specialist groups; coordinate pull-through with cross-functional partners to deliver consistent execution. Engage HCPs with scientific excellence: Facilitate evidence-based discussions with respiratory specialists and other HCPs on approved indications, efficacy, and safety to support appropriate on-label prescribing. Translate market insights into action: Maintain deep understanding of local demographics, pathways, access dynamics, and managed market considerations; prioritise projects that address evolving customer and patient needs. Orchestrate cross-functional teamwork: Proactively lead and align with sales leadership, marketing, medical, market access, and patient support to accelerate impact within priority accounts. Operate with integrity: Complete all training and product certifications; adhere to all regulations and policies governing HCP interactions, sample distribution, and promotional conduct. Essential skills and experience Education: Bachelor’s degree. Experience: Postgraduate pharmaceutical industry experience with a proven track record of sales success in specialty care or similar. Capabilities: Strong account-based selling, business planning, and pull-through execution; high scientific acumen to discuss clinical evidence with specialists. Territory management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex territories, prioritise high-impact accounts, and deliver against forecast and budget. Collaboration: Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority; excellent communication and stakeholder management. Compliance: Consistent adherence to industry codes and company policies. Desirable Therapy area: Respiratory disease experience (e.g., COPD, asthma). Channel: Hospital/specialist sales experience and knowledge of Queensland access and referral pathways. Tools: Proficiency with CRM and analytics to inform call planning and account insights; formal training in account management frameworks. Territory and travel Territory: Queensland North, with a prioritised focus on key accounts in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay Region and Mackay Travel: Regular in-territory travel; occasional travel for meetings and training.
