How you’ll make an impact in this role Lead the development of individualized care plans by assessing patient diagnosis and respiratory needs to ensure every treatment is medically precise and outcome-driven. Implement and manage advanced respiratory therapies using state-of-the-art equipment to stabilize and improve the lung function of patients with complex insufficiencies. Direct life-saving interventions as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing rapid-response expertise when every second counts. Empower patients and their families through clear education on their respiratory health and community resources, ensuring a safe and informed transition from hospital to home. Evaluate and refine treatment effectiveness by monitoring patient progress in real-time and adjusting medications or modalities to achieve the highest quality of care. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Indiana Respiratory Care Committee obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
