Work in multiple settings, including the Emergency Room, Labor & Delivery, Med/Surg, and outpatient diagnostics. Collaborative and supportive team culture that values your skills and professional growth. Consistent schedule with three 12-hour shifts (6 AM – 6:30 PM). No call. What You’ll Do: Assess patient needs and develop personalized respiratory care plans. Perform respiratory procedures, including bronchopulmonary drainage, ventilator management, and oxygen therapy. Conduct cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic testing, such as EKGs, Holter monitors, pulmonary function tests, and cardiac stress testing. Assist in C-section and vaginal deliveries, providing essential newborn respiratory support. Educate patients and caregivers on at-home treatment programs and follow-up care. Maintain top-quality respiratory equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring top patient care standards. What We're Looking For: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. Active Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner license. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification within 6 months of hire OR Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with 5+ years of acute care experience. BLS required upon hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 60 days. Acute care experience preferred, with the ability to adapt to various patient care settings.
