Description SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE Under the supervision of the Director and/or the Assistant Director of Respiratory Care and upon the request of the physician, sets up and operates various types of respiratory care equipment and provides therapy to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with respiratory disease, compromise or illness. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities. Shift: Nights 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Requirements Licensed by the North Carolina Board of Respiratory Care as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist sets up and operates various respiratory care equipment under the supervision of the Director or Assistant Director of Respiratory Care. This role involves providing therapy for the diagnosis and treatment of patients suffering from respiratory disease, compromise, or illness.
