RESPIRATORY THERAPIST FULL TIME NIGHTS POSITION SUMMARY:

Registered Respiratory Therapists work to evaluate, treat and rehabilitate patients with pulmonary and cardiac disease or those prone to develop dysfunction of those organs. Therapists work with patients of all ages in all areas of the hospital to include general care, critical care, emergent care, and infant/pediatric areas. All staff practice within the boundaries of their defined competencies according to guidelines set forth by the AARC and its sponsoring organizations, as well as state and federal guidelines.

THE RESPIRATORY THERAPIST FULL TIME NIGHTS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Education: Current South Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner Licensure
Experience: A minimum of three years experience in Respiratory Care procedures preferred. Experience with neonates preferred and minimum of three years critical care experience required.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. BLS certification. 2. ACLS 3. PALS certification preferred 4. NRP certification within 6 months of hire
