JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. The RT will examine patients with breathing-related conditions, perform diagnostic testing, and collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans. This role requires critical thinking, independent judgment, and the ability to remain calm and effective in stressful situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Utah Respiratory Therapist License (required)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications (required)
• At least 1 year of recent clinical experience
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team

• Measure lung capacity and analyze blood samples using a blood gas analyzer
• Deliver and assess response to therapy per care plan; monitor and document patient progress
• Evaluate respiratory care policies and procedures based on best practices and patient outcomes
• Respond to emergency codes and calls for urgent respiratory support
• Provide education to patients and families on conditions, treatments, and community resources
• Manage respiratory supplies and medical gas cylinders
• Disassemble, clean, sterilize, and perform preventative maintenance on equipment
