Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. $20K Sign-On Bonus with 2 year commitment Position Highlights: Position: Respiratory The Location: Highland Park Hospital Full time: 40 hours per week Hours: Mix of Evenings and Nights 3:00pm-11:30pm and 7:00pm to 7:30am and 11:00pm -7:30am. Must be able to work Evening shifts every other weekend Required Travel: No What will you need: License: Licensed by the State of Illinois as a Respiratory Care Practitioner required Education: Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of respiratory therapy required Certification: CPR (BLS) Experience: 6 months experience in a health care setting preferred; 1 year of adult critical care experience, neonatal or adult, preferred What you will do: Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures Assess patients to determine most suitable method of administering treatment Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians Communicate to patient and family the treatment being performed in a clear manner Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients Provide patient and staff education About Us Endeavor Health is a fully integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing access to quality, vibrant, community-connected care, serving an area of more than 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties.
