Job Details Job Location: Amberwell Hiawatha - Hiawatha, KS 66434 Position Type: Part Time - Benefit Eligible Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Periodic - As Needed Job Shift: PRN - As Needed, no set Shift Job Category: Respiratory Therapy Position Summary Assists in the diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with pulmonary disorders. Collects and analyzes sputum, blood and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide and other gases. Also measures the lung capacity of a patient to determine if there is impaired function. Performs all respiratory therapy procedures and cardiac diagnostic procedures throughout the hospital. Qualifications Education 2 year/Associate Degree Licensed by the State of Kansas as a Respiratory Care Practitioner BLS ACLS NRP Experience None required Skills Organizational Verbal Interpersonal Customer Relations Mathematical Analytical Grammar/Spelling Read/Comprehend written instructions Follow verbal instructions Computer: General working knowledge and Meditech will have to learn the Holter and PFT systems.
