Citrus Post Acute is a 24-hour 144-bed skilled nursing facility located in the heart of Santa Ana, CA. Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals work to help patients recover from surgery, injury, and other short/long-term care.  We are on the search for a Per-Diem RT to join the team! The RT will be responsible for creating and implementing appropriate care plans along with the RT Lead and clinical team. Shifts Available: * Per Diem (On-Call) What We Offer (Full-Time Employees): * Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage.   * Additional options like Accident Insurance and Hospitalization plans.   * Life and AD&D insurance.  * 401(k) retirement savings option.  * Vacation and Sick Leave  Pay Range: * $34-37/hour Depending on Experience  Overview of the Position:  The RT will evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. As the RT, you will be assuming primary responsibility for all respiratory care therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures. * Assesses patients and recommends respiratory therapy treatments * Plans, prepares and administers treatments including IPPB, aerosol, chest physical therapy,  incentive spirometry, and sputum inductions, in accordance with established policies and procedures * Performs diagnostic pulmonary and cardiac tests * Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory therapy equipment * Responds to “code blue” calls and assist by maintaining the patient’s airway and performs CPR * Patient care documentation is timely, legible, and efficient.
