  • Technical Knowledge of Operating Room Equipment
  • Anaesthetic Administration Knowledge
  • Fluid Management/Haemodynamic Monitoring
  • Arterial punctures/arterial line insertion/IV Insertion
  • Airway Management (Intubation Certified & Airway Adjuncts)
  • Staff and patient educationR.T. Student education and training

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have completed the Respiratory Therapist program
  • Member in good standing of C.S.R.T. and R.T.S.O.
  • Recent Respiratory Therapy OR experience preferred
  • ACLS required
  • Knowledge of computers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to work various shifts as required, and on call
  • Positive work and attendance record essentialWillingness to upgrade skills through external education
