Respiratory Therapist – Gainesville, FL Location: Gainesville, FL Schedule: Nights (Rotating Weekends) Evenings (Rotating Weekends) Compensation: Less than 1 year: $27.42/hour 2–3 years: $29.89/hour 4–5 years: $31.12/hour 6–7 years: $32.36/hour 9–10+ years: $33.59/hour 16+ years: $36.95/hour Shift Differentials: Nights: +$3.25/hour Weekends: +$2.00/hour Sign-On Bonus: $25,000 (available for both evening and night shifts) Relocation Assistance: Offered on a case-by-case basis Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our acute care team in Gainesville. In this role, you will deliver high-quality respiratory care in a modern clinical setting while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team focused on improving patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Administer routine and advanced respiratory therapies and manage equipment Perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) Monitor patient responses, medication effects, and adjust care as needed Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate care Educate patients and families about respiratory care and equipment Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist; acute care preferred (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, or other critical care units). Home care or long-term care experience will be considered.
