JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and acute care protocols.
  • Familiarity with medication administration procedures and clinical practices for various age groups including pediatrics and geriatrics.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team at both Level I and Level II trauma centers.
  • Strong communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate respiratory needs and develop appropriate care plans.
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including the use of ventilators and airway management techniques.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient responses to therapy, adjusting treatment as necessary.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide high-quality care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities.
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory health, medication administration, and home care techniques.
  • Participate in emergency response situations as needed, utilizing skills in basic life support and critical care.
