  • Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology

Responsibilities:

  • The Department Supervisor demonstrates critical thinking, skills, scientific judgment and leadership in anticipating, delegating and planning in accordance with the law, policies, protocols, procedures, established standards or physician orders.
  • The Department Supervisor has accountability and responsibility for all assigned areas and reports to the appropriate executive officer or designee.
  • The individual is responsible and accountable for the planning, directing, and provision of service/care to patients or customers.
  • The supervisor is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practice Act.
  • The Respiratory Therapy supervisor is a clinical position and the individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide respiratory care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit.
  • Incumbent will be expected to cover the unit on a routine basis to insure appropriate staffing per budget.

Qualifications:

Job Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Respiratory Care
  • Oklahoma RCP license and CRT or RRT upon hire
