New Vanderbilt Rehabilitation and Care Center is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Supervisor to join the team. Responsibilities
  • Work directly with the Respiratory Therapy staff to provide top-quality respiratory care services to the patients in the unit.
  • Provide essential leadership and administrative support for the health organization as a whole.
  • Assist the Director of Respiratory in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Vent Unit and Respiratory Department.
  • Perform clinical assessments, which includes, but not limited to: BS, cough, sputum, dyspnea, pain, fever, hearing, skin color, vision, vital signs, circulation, spirometry, mental status, activity and medicine profile.
  • Responsible for routine patient follow-up contacts based on policy and procedures and individual patient needs.
  • Provide ongoing client visits for equipment maintenance and care planning.
  • Maintain good relations with clients and consults with referring physicians regarding patient treatment, medical conditions and home environments
