The Opportunity Lead a passionate and dedicated team of Carer's to deliver HammondCare's model of care with it's Respite Cottage service in Wahroonga. HammondCare’s Respite Cottages provide short-term accommodation and individualised support for older guests during stays of up to 10 nights. About the role This is a 12 month Maximum term Full-Time position in our Cottage Respite Home, you will be responsible for the management and direct care of clients' individual needs. Responsible for leading a passionate and dedicated team of staff to deliver HammondCare's model of care with its Overnight Respite Cottage service in Wahroonga. The role of Overnight Respite Cottage Manager works with the Head of Clubs and Cottages to recruit, mentor and lead staff, manage budgets, ensure quality and oversee all technical aspects of care provision at the Respite Cottage. Responsible for the management and direct care of clients' needs, you will provide professional, capable and aligned leadership for your team in order to deliver individualised care to our clients You and your team will make a significant difference in improving the quality of life for those we care for and their carers. What do you need to apply? Certificate IV in Aged Care & a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience. Whilst clinical registration is preferred, it is not essential as we are able to support a successful non-clinical applicant with internal clinical resources Demonstrated ability to build supportive, professional relationships with clients within a relationship-based model of care; Knowledge of the Commonwealth Home Support Program Manual, Home Care Packages Program Guidelines, Home Care Common Standards and HammondAtHome Care Worker Enterprise Agreement 2012. Experience managing a team of skilled professionals in a multi-site environment A current drivers licence and willingness to travel between HammondCare's sites and services Strong administrative and computer skills.
