Required Commitment: April 20, 2026 to December 18, 2026 The Team Lead (TL) provides leadership and support to Community Specialists (CS), fellow Team Leads (TL), Volunteers or Practicum Students and participants for assigned programs. This role will ensure program planning and implementation focuses on participant goals and meeting assigned outcomes. The conscientious Team Lead will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with diverse abilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong. Key Functions * Informs, supports, trains, mentors, leads, and oversees direct care front line employees * Plans programming, ensuring meaningful days and purposeful support * Foster genuine relationships promoting dignity, personal interests, and identities * Empower people with diverse abilities to create meaningful days and achieve their goals * Identifies and solves problems, building employee capacity in difficult situations * Conduct general administration, follow-ups, documentation, and reporting duties as assigned * Ensures risk free, stimulating, safe, and supportive environment * Perform other job-related activities as required Qualifications * Minimum education requirement of a High School Diploma with minimum of 3-5 years of related experience, or a Certificate or Diploma in Disability Services, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field with 2-3 years of related experience, or a University Degree in Disability Services, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field with 1-2 years of related experience * Alignment with AdaptAbilities core purpose and core values * Capable leadership, communication, teamwork and positive attitude  * Strong conflict resolution skills * Excellent organization and time management skills  * Ability to remain calm in emotionally challenging situations and effectively use empathy * Clean class 5 driver’s license and vehicle is an asset * Clear Police Information Check and Intervention Record Check are required * Intermediate First Aid Certification CPR Level C and AED is required upon hire * Medication Administration Certification is required upon hire * Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, Abuse Prevention and Response Protocol are an asset  Compensation $25.65 to $26.95/ hour depending on experience and education Application Deadline: Open until April 17, 2026.
