We are looking for an engaging Respite Provider to hang out with an awesome kiddo to give mom some time for self-care!
Flexible Scheduling, fun environment, get paid to have FUN.
Job Location: Altoona, WI

SCHEDULE:

• To be discussed and determined between provider and family.
• Ideally looking for 1x weekend per month (to include overnights).
• Additional weekday hours available as well (8-10 hours per week; occasional)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Must have auto insurance.
• Must pass background check.
• Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

• If hired, Consumer Direct Care Network (CDCN) will not be your legal employer on record. If hired by a Member or their Managing Party, your legal employer on record would be the Member. CDCN’s role is to assist the Member or Managing Party in recruiting a Direct Care Worker. The Member or Managing Party has the sole authority to hire or dismiss any potential Direct Care Worker.

• Respite care is to be conducted in the provider’s (your) home.
• Ensure safety while under your supervision.
• Engage with kiddo and encourage appropriate behaviors.
• Assist with care needs (ie. dressing, bathing, combing hair, brushing teeth, toileting)
• Willing to transport in personal vehicle.
• Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys: running outside, building with Legos, playing Minecraft, art projects, going to the park, and so much more.
