Description

Safe Haven Foundation is committed to helping Calgary’s homeless and at-risk girls reclaim their futures. Through its Haven’s Way™ program, a long-term live-in supportive housing model, the Foundation provides a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment where youth can build healthy relationships, overcome barriers, complete their education, and develop the skills needed to become self-reliant, contributing members of the community.
Respite Staff / Live-In Support report directly to the Program Director and play a key role in maintaining the consistency and structure of the Haven’s Way home. They step in when full-time Live-In Support Workers take scheduled respite days, ensuring that the home continues to operate smoothly and ethically, always in the best interest of the youth. While Respite Staff may only be present a few days each month, their contribution is essential to sustaining the supportive environment and reinforcing the program’s values and routines.
