As a Part-Time Respite Support Worker, you will provide regular, structured support to children in their homes and communities, allowing parents and guardians a chance to rest and recharge. **Driver’s License Required: A valid Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are essential, as the role includes transporting children to community outings and appointments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist children with daily routines, such as meal prep, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Implement individualized care plans to promote child development, social involvement, and independence.
  • Engage children in fun, creative, and therapeutic activities tailored to their interests and needs.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional safety of the child, while fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment.
  • Communicate with families to ensure care plans are being followed and feedback is provided.
