JOB DESCRIPTION

About Us:At SMJ Youth Services, we are dedicated to supporting youth with complex special needs and youth undergoing criminal rehabilitation. We offer a range of services, including community support, in-home care, and 24-hour care in licensed, staff-model homes.
We are looking for compassionate, skilled, and flexible individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers, providing essential care and support to youth in their journey toward growth and independence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College diploma in a related field (e.g., Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Community Justice Service, Psychology) or higher education.
  • Valid G-class driver’s license.
  • Valid First Aid CPR
  • Experience working with youth with complex special needs and/or youth involved in criminal rehabilitation is an asset.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
