JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a caring, reliable, and patient Respite Support Worker to support a friendly and energetic teen. This is a part-time position with a mix of day, evening, and weekend hours over the summer. Once school is back in session, the role will shift to after school and weekend hours.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience or understanding of ADHD, ODD, anxiety, depression, and Tourette’s is an asset.
  • Patient, empathetic, and dependable.
  • Able to set healthy boundaries and communicate effectively.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (or willing to obtain).

SCHEDULE:

  • Summer: Day, evening, and weekend hours.
  • School year: After school and weekend hours.

    We are looking for a dedicated and genuine team players who are vested in providing direct support services to children, youth and adults with developmental disabilities in Edmonton, Fort Saskatchewan, Sturgeon County, Strathcona County, and area.

    Pay: From $19.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week
