Le département Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) de Microsoft est le moteur qui alimente nos services cloud. Microsoft’s Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers our cloud services. As a CO+I ERM, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft’s online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. By enabling data center capacity through increased Infrastructure Utilization Effectiveness (IUE) and Power Harvesting (PH), you will lead the retrofit efforts to upgrade legacy datacenters and harvest capacity in our existing fleet. QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES :

• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent ET 2+ années d’expérience dans le support d’équipements informatiques ou de technologies connexes, ou dans la réalisation de projets de déploiement de serveurs et de réseaux à grande échelle, OU expérience équivalente.
• 2+ années d’expérience dans l’infrastructure d’Environnement Critique (ex. : ASI, PDU, générateurs, UTA/CFM, capacité à lire et interpréter des schémas électriques unifilaires et à travailler sur des modifications d’infrastructure informatique (ex. : chemins de câbles, guides-fibres, HAC et équipements informatiques).
• Microsoft s’engage à préserver la langue française et à promouvoir son usage dans le cadre professionnel le cas échéant. Cependant, pour ce rôle en particulier, la maîtrise de l’anglais est une exigence professionnelle justifiée en raison des tâches techniques et spécialisées nécessitant l’utilisation de l’anglais afin de répondre aux besoins des clients tout en travaillant de manière intégrée avec des collègues du monde entier. La maîtrise de la communication orale et écrite en français est considérée comme un atout.

QUALIFICATIONS PRÉFÉRÉES

• 1+ année d’expérience dans les espaces critiques IT et compréhension de l’allocation IT (ex. : densité de clusters diversifiés, quanta, modèles).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years’ experience supporting IT equipment or related technology or delivering server and network deployment projects in large-scale OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructure (e.g., UPS, PDUs, Generators, AHU/CFM, ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams and working with IT infrastructure modifications (e.g., Cable trays, Fiber Runners, HACs and IT equipment).
• Microsoft is committed to upholding the French language’s status and ensuring its use in the workplace where applicable. However, for this specific role, proficiency in English is a bona fide occupational requirement due to technical and specialized tasks requiring the use of English to meet customer needs while working in an integrated fashion with colleagues around the world. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in French is considered an asset.

BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
• The successful candidate currently has the ability to obtain Reliability Status screening from a duly authorized department or agency of the Government of Canada. This process includes but is not limited to:
• Verification of identity, background, education, professional credentials, personal and professional references, credit check and criminal background check.
• Reliability Status screening may also require a security questionnaire and security interview.
• To obtain the requisite clearance within required timelines, applicants must have five (5) years of continuous Canadian residency and must not have lived or worked outside of Canada for more than six (6) months during that time unless Microsoft is satisfied that the requisite clearance can nevertheless be obtained within required timelines.
