You are a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset, and a strong operational background in industrial or manufacturing engineering to join our Global Manufacturing team. You will provide strategic expertise to Pratt & Whitney Canada’s International manufacturing facilities. This team is located at the Longueuil head office, is responsible for the harmonization of the company’s strategic initiatives, capital investments and the oversight of the operations of our International Manufacturing facilities located in Poland and China

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

  • Bachelor of engineering, business administration, or equivalent, with 7 years or more of experience in an operational envrionment
  • Masters degree related to job description an asset
  • Recognized project management expertise in an industrial environment, preferably in a manufacturing sector.
  • A creative outside the box thinker, with a strong ability to solve complex non-rountine challenges.
  • Proven influential leadership skills with ability to successfully collaborate with various organizations.
  • A subject matter expert and senior professional with proven ability to coach, lead, and achieve operational targets and metrics. Experience as a change agent in a production environment.
  • Knowledge and skills of the computer tools related to the task: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Strong communication with experience presenting to executive levels.
  • Recognized knowledge of Six sigma, Lean principles and tools.
  • Bilingual: French & English

This multi-faceted role calls for a candidate that brings the proven ability to influence and indirectly lead remote teams to drive business results, experienced in managing successful continuous improvement projects and transformation. In addition, we are looking for a candidate who has:

  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • A dynamic ability to learn quickly and work on multiple projects and priorities in our global manufacturing team.
  • A demonstrated positive attitude, a pattern of personal and professional conscientiousness and courage
  • A demonstrated pattern of reliability and dependability
  • The ability to read and write English is required.
  • The ability to travel internationally a few times per year.
