OPERATIONS MANAGER – ITAD

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is Canada’s largest and most important vertically integrated IT asset disposal and recycling processor. We are committed to enabling the safe and secure reuse of electronic devices, the responsible recycling of electronic devices to divert waste from landfills, and the recovery of natural resources from obsolete electronic devices.
Quantum is looking for a bilingual Operations Manager in the ITAD department to lead the ITAD (IT Asset Disposition) operations in Montreal (Laval). The Operations Manager – ITAD will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of ITAD’s day-to-day operations through overall management and administration. This leader will oversee the team’s staff, production, development, and leadership to drive production growth and product quality. The Operations Manager – ITAD is responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors and ensuring the integration of strategic plans into ITAD’s operations. Customer orientation, communication energy, teamwork, quality orientation and team management are essential.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 or more years of effective leadership skills in a manufacturing environment with proven capabilities of strong focus on the factory floor and business processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in a related field or equivalent
  • Establish the overall vision and direction for the implementation of plant administration.
  • Able to identify key issues; creatively and strategically overcome internal challenges or obstacles.
  • A clear and robust understanding of personnel policies, practices, procedures, and other operational issues facing the organization.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of health, safety, environmental and employment legislation.
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
  • Strong analytical, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including conflict resolution, and people management skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
