La personne responsable des ressources humaines pour l’usine de Windsor (Québec) est en charge de planifier, organiser et diriger les activités de ressources humaines du site afin d’atteindre les objectifs de l’entreprise pour plusieurs départements. La personne travaille en étroite collaboration avec les responsables fonctionnels et leurs équipes de direction pour répondre proactivement aux besoins actuels et futurs de l’entreprise, dans le but d’accroître les capacités organisationnelles, l’efficacité et la performance individuelle. Le ou la titulaire de ce poste a une personne sous sa responsabilité.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Baccalauréat requis et plus de 5 ans d’expérience en RH dans un poste similaire.
  • Capacité à gérer la stratégie RH, le leadership et le développement organisationnel, ainsi que les relations avec les employés en entreprise
  • Habileté à gérer des priorités multiples.
  • Bilingue, Français et Anglais (la communication anglaise est requise pour communiquer avec les gens du siège social)
  • Compétences en MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Une expérience dans l’utilisation d’un SIRH est un atout.
    The Plant Human Resources Manager is responsible for the plant located in Windsor (Quebec) to plan, organize and direct human resources activities in support of corporate goals and objectives for multiple corporate functions. This position works closely with functional leaders and their management teams to proactively address current and future needs of the business with an objective of increasing organizational capability, effectiveness and individual performance. One person is reporting to this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and foster ongoing relationships to effectively partner with the business and key stakeholders
  • Anticipate HR issues as a result of long-range business strategies and partner with managers to create proactive solutions to keep up with evolving changes
  • Initiate and manage consistent implementation of various initiatives in support of our HR strategic plan involving staffing, performance management, organization design, employee relations, leadership development, and corporate responsibility (core values, code of conduct, employment laws)
  • Perform risk assessments and create preventative strategies to reduce exposure to legal/regulatory risks
  • Maintain high visibility and assist management with effective communications to their teams
  • Coordinate with corporate functions and make sure programs are consistent and application is in accordance with established policies and comply with applicable laws and regulations
  • Advise local management concerning the Company’s responsibilities and liability under existing legislation and regulations.
  • Counsel with management regarding employee issues
  • Support functional leaders with annual Talent Review, Merit and Performance Review processes

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree required (Masters preferred) and 5+ years HR experience at manager level
  • CRHA certification preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage HR strategy, leadership and organizational development, and employee relations in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, facilitate projects and business processes and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Bilingual, French/English (English is required for communication with the Headquarters)
  • Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);
  • Experience with HRIS and creating reports from an HRIS strongly preferred
