Gatsu Gatsu is a Japanese restaurant located in Launceston, renowned for providing authentic Japanese cuisine using high-quality ingredients and exceptional service. To further enhance our service, we are seeking motivated and experienced receptionists to join our team.
Position: all-rounder
As an all-rounder, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our restaurant.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Greet and serve customers with a friendly attitude
* Take orders and operate the POS system
* Pack takeaway orders and maintain cleanliness in the service area
* Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks
* Clean tables, kitchen areas, and utensils
* Follow food safety and hygiene standards
* Support the team with any other duties as required
What We’re Looking For:
* RSA Certificate (Responsible Service ofAlcohol) - required.
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role.
* Basic barista skills.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
