ABOUT US:

Witchcraft Pub is a locally loved gastropub in Maple Ridge, known for our rustic atmosphere, wide craft beer selection, and scratch-made, wood-fired menu. We’re looking for a strong and motivated Bar Manager to take charge of our bar operations and help lead our front-of-house team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous bartending experience required
• Must be physically able to move and organize full kegs solo on a daily basis
• Reliable, organized, and team-focused
• Strong leadership qualities with a desire to grow
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
• Serving It Right certification required

THE ROLE:

This is a working leadership position. You’ll bartend during service while overseeing inventory, product quality, and bar organization. You’ll also act as a shift leader—supporting the front-of-house team and assisting management with comps, voids, promos, and other operational needs. This role has clear growth potential into a management position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Bartend during busy service periods
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
• Manage inventory, receive deliveries, rotate product, and stock fridges
• Daily movement and organization of full kegs (130 lbs), including moving them upstairs with assistance as needed
• Lead front-of-house shifts and act as point person for staff questions
• Handle or escalate customer concerns appropriately
• Assist management with day-to-day duties, events, and promotions
